Nathan Lachowsky (he/him) is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health and Social Policy at the University of Victoria, as well as Research Director for the Community Based Research Centre. Avi Lewis is a documentary filmmaker and Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Geography. He has been working on issues of just transition and a Green New Deal since helping launch the Leap Manifesto in 2015.

Joel Lexchin (he/him) taught health policy at York University from 2001-2016 and was an emergency physician at University Health Network until 2022. He is a long-standing pharmacoactivist in Canada and internationally.

Zexi Li (she/her) is the lead plaintiff in the Class Action Lawsuit against the so-called Freedom Convoy. She is a public servant expressing her views and experience as a private citizen living in Ottawa.

Thomas Linder (he/him) has a PhD in Sociology from Queen’s University where he wrote his dissertation on the intersection of digital surveillance technologies, policing and the social and political impacts involved.
