Nir Hagigi is the President of the Carleton University chapter of Independent Jewish Voices and an elected member of the Carleton University Senate. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Global and International Studies, with a specialization in Global Development and a minor in Environmental and Climate Humanities. His research focuses on the Southwest Asia region, with a particular interest on the Arab Mashriq.
